HYPE is the first student-built satellite developed at AGH University of Science and Technology. It was created by members of the SatLab Student Research Group as part of an educational and engineering initiative focused on space technologies. The satellite was built in the PocketQube standard and measures just 5 × 5 × 5 cm, making it not only the first fully student-designed satellite in AGH’s history, but also the smallest satellite ever built in Poland. In January 2025, HYPE was successfully launched into Low Earth Orbit (LEO), marking a significant milestone in AGH’s growing involvement in the space sector.
